![]() ![]() I never pass on an opportunity to preview such applications, so I would like to introduce you to PicPlayPost from Flambe Studios. Until then, go check out the products from Elle’s Studio in the Hey Little Magpie shop.I'm a big fan of apps designed to either take or manipulate photographs. I’ll be back on the 24th with more inspiration. I chose one picture taken in each month of 2019 for the calendar. The calendar card was then adhered next to the photo, which covered up all the joins! I then added a puffy heart sticker from Elle’s Studio to the left of the calendar card to finish it off. In hindsight I should have purchased two sheets of the paper, that would have made for less fiddly cutting!). The photo, measuring approximately 2 1/2 x 3 1/4″, was layered above these coloured bands which. I adhered these to the top and bottom of the right hand side. This meant each piece had three colours on it. I cut six 1/2″ vertical strips from the remaining paper, trimming each strip into 3″ lengths. These were used down the left side of each month. I cut a 4″ strip vertically and trimmed each of the twelve coloured bands out into 4 x 1″ strips. It has twelve different colour strips, see below, well that was just perfect for twelve months! I used up leftover white cardstock from making my December Daily as 4×6″ card bases. I had a little Ikea bamboo phone stand, but my new phone doesn’t fit it anymore, it does however make the perfect little stand for a 4×6″ desk calendar! I used the Crafty & Happy paper from the new Simple Stories – Hey Crafty Girl collection to decorate each month. These are out of stock, however if you click on the ‘Notify Me’ button to get an email when it comes back in stock). As I’m not currently doing project life I decided I’d make a little desk calendar. I ordered the Elle’s Studio 3×4 2020 Calendar pack, which would be perfect for project life. My second project moved me into the new decade 2020. The layout was kept super simple by adding the white acrylic DEC 2019 for my title and three phrase stickers, both from Elle’s Studio. ![]() The red washi tape and dark green patterned paper complemented the colours in the photos perfectly. I trimmed all the little photos to leave a white border and began adhering them to a piece of 12×12 Bazzill white cardstock, raising five on foam pads to give extra dimension.īelow the photos I added a strip of my favourite Christmas washi tape from Carta Bella ‘Merry Christmas’ (this is my second roll, I’ve used it throughout my December Daily and on my handmade Christmas cards) and a band of Crate Paper ‘Icicles’ paper from the Snowflake collection. ![]() I printed out 24 little photos from December using the PicFrame App and the 2:3 frame with six square photos and printed them on my Canon Selphy printer. First up is a scrapbook layout documenting some favourite events and pictures from December 2019. I chose to work with some of the Elle’s Studio products that came in recently to Hey Little Magpie. ,(Hey there, it’s Jo here with my first batch of projects for 2020. ![]()
